The syllogism is a logical statement that may or may not be true and uses the reasoning of deduction (top-down approach) to find out the conclusion based on given two or more statements.

Question-1
Statements
(a) All roses are flowers.
(b) Some flowers are gardens.
Conclusions-
(1) Some gardens are flowers.
(2) All flowers are garden.
Solution-
From the diagram, it can be observed that
Some gardens are flowers, but all flowers are not garden
So, (1) follows but (2) does not.
