Unawareness about plagiarism

Most of the bloggers focus on SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), bounce rate, web traffic, clicks, page RPM, impression RPM, theme of the blog, plug-ins and finally total earnings. Further, these are important parameters. However, knowingly or unknowingly they do not care about plagiarism which is very serious and can destroy blogging carrier. It happens with newbie they copy and post others articles and think that nobody is noticing, on the other hand, the matured blogger can also make mistake and their article may be plagiarised.
To avoid plagiarism, both should use plagiarism detection softwares.
Moreover, there are several tools available to avoid plagiarism. In this article, first, I will describe what is plagiarism, second, types of plagiarism, third, how to avoid it?

What is plagiarism?

First Definition ” Plagiarism is the act of taking another person’s writing, conversation, song, or even idea and passing it off as your own [1]”.
The second Definition ” To steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one’s own use (another’s production) without crediting the source[2]”.
If you are copying sentence ditto keep the whole sentence in double quotes with reference.
Types of plagiarism.[3] has classified plagiarism of two types
Direct Plagiarism – This types of plagiarism is done by newbie bloggers they directly copy the contents and post on their blogs without giving credit to the article from contents they have taken from.
Self Plagiarism – In which blogger uses its own article without citing the article. This type of plagiarism is committed by matured bloggers by unknowingly.

How to avoid plagiarism.

The first definition is not mine, I have copied ditto which is in double quotes but. I have given credit to the website which can be reached after clicking on [1]. Hence, my article is not plagiarized because I have given credit to the website using citation and by the use, citation plagiarism can be avoided, so, here I have explained definition and how plagiarism can be avoided. Additionally, the cited material it may be an image, video, research article, and book’s chapter(s) and it must be listed in the sources (references) section with title, date of retrieve or date of publication, publisher or website name. Furthermore, every times it does not happen that you need only one sentence, sometimes you need idea of whole paragraph, in this case the method called paraphrasing ( read a paragraph but write in your own words) with citation is used, and it very common.

Avoid plagiarism using online tools-

There are several online plagiarism detectors, which are listed below.

Small SEO Tools –

This will be the first plagiarism detector in google search you copy and past your article in text box and can get the result.

Copyscape-

This is a very good online plagiarism checker for bloggers you put your URL and can get plagiarism result.
